A hands-on session led by experienced professionals in a supportive, non-judgmental environment designed to teach children of all ages practical, age-appropriate fire safety behaviours.

Fire safety made simple, memorable, and fun for the whole family.

This 90-minute, hands-on session is designed to teach kids of all ages practical, age-appropriate fire safety behaviours and safe, basic firefighting actions for small accidental home fires; know when to evacuate and call emergency services; practise skills in Virtual Reality (VR) scenarios and with supervised props.

After the session, enjoy an additional 30 minutes at our welcoming venue to relax, connect with your group, and make the most of our family-friendly space. There’s plenty of room for additional family members who will love our kid friendly activities, including time with a real Fire Engine!

Practical firefighting basics (age appropriate)- demonstrating fire blanket and portable fire extinguishers using PASS

Interactive VR scenarios fighting fires and using handheld water fire extinguishers

Learning Outcomes

Understand basic fire safety rules and how fires start, spread, and behave.
Identify key fire prevention measures in the home using a practical family safety checklist.
Demonstrate hands-on firefighting skills appropriate to their age, including the safe use of a fire blanket and portable fire extinguisher using the PASS technique (Pull, Aim, Squeeze, Sweep).
Participate in interactive safety activities such as Stop, Drop, and Roll and Get Down Low and Go to reinforce safe responses in a fun and memorable way.
Experience realistic fire scenarios through interactive VR simulations, gaining confidence in responding to fires and using handheld water extinguishers safely.

Certification and Accreditation

Participants will receive a certificate of attendance on the completion of the session.
